I grew up in a church that encouraged dancing, speaking in tongues and prophecy. So it was not weird to me, UNTIL I left that church. Now when I am exposed to people who do these things, it makes me a little uneasy at first. Anyway, I have been told I have the gift of prophecy and that really excites me! However, sometimes I am fearful of saying/hearing the wrong thing. The 6 steps above simplify it and it seems less scary now. Especially that He will NEVER ask me to speak against the written word. Have you noticed that God tries us in things oppesit to our liking, preference or nature? I am a social bean, and a healing attention addict too! I blame it on personality, I talk a lot, and some people love that, others hate it with passion! I find that I have struggled most with loneliness despite the so many people I know and love around the world! I get plenty of love and support, but God still chooses to allow loneliness in my life! It's not that He's cruel, or enjoys my suffering, not at all! It's that he's a lot more interested in my character building than my happiness piling! I think!
